Provide a user-changeable setting for the date format.
Journal Entry Dates are displayed in the format MM/DD/YY, which can be confusing for those of us in countries more used to DD/MM/YY or YY/MM/DD, especially where the day is below 13 e.g. 12/03/23 can be read as Dec 3rd 2023 or 12th Mar 2023.
Alternatively, globally adopt the ISO 8601 format YYYY-MM-DD (2024-09-13), which is great for sorting data.
